For Parents
And Teachers
We here at DiveOne understand that, as a parent, you are trusting our company and your student's teachers to take your child on a week-long adventure in a different state or country, and we thank you for that.
We want you to know how serious we take safety, finances, and fun therefore this page will assist in answering some questions about our processes.
You can also visit our FAQs page if you have more specific questions.
When working with schools, DiveOne will operate within this schedule to accommodate students, families, teachers, staff, and finances. This ensures smooth sailing when trip coordinating and allows families to make multiple payments that coincides with DiveOne’s reservations of airfare, housing, and certifications.
DiveOne doesn’t just work with school groups, we work with family, religious, corporate, college groups, and more. With these trips, DiveOne offers trips at any point during the year, and we can be flexible with timing on meetings, payment due dates, and more.
Finances
We understand that the cost of these trips is expensive. Still, they are designed to incorporate everything to give your child the best experience possible. Everything will be covered, including airfare, housing, transportation, meals, all dives/dive gear, and the dive certification.
We can provide different payment plans based on your needs. Teachers know that they need to decide on and have a student body ready to go on a trip by the specified date that will be given to the school to allow ample time for the payment plan to take effect. Families can also choose to pay in full if desired.
We will have a $500, down payment scheduled on a given date that coincides with that particular trip. If other arrangements need to be made, we will work with parents to set up something that works better for them. We are firm believers in allowing everyone the same opportunity.
If for some reason the trip gets cancelled within a month of the first payment, families will get ALL their funds back, including the deposit. If the trip gets cancelled after a month has passed, DiveOne will keep the deposit, and all other funds that have been paid will be returned. This is because at this point DiveOne will have lost some of those funds to nonrefundable reservation deposits such as housing, transportation, excursions, etc.
ALL TRIPS MUST BE PAID BY THE FINAL DATE THAT IT IS DUE!
