Commitment to Safety

DiveOne’s commitment to safety is of utmost importance. Scuba Diving is considered a high-risk sport; therefore, we must make safety the number one priority when going on trips. DiveOne follows all health and safety laws within the states and countries we work with. In addition, we provide safety contracts for our staff and clients to sign and follow to ensure a safe experience and regular training on safety measures.

During our parent meetings we will hand out these safety contracts to ensure everyone gets their questions/concerns answered before signing. These contracts must be signed before going on any of our trips. Within the agreement, there are rules that each child, and chaperone, must abide by, such as no drinking, no drugs, and no leaving without an adult and letting your Trip Coordinator know. Rule breaks lead to the student being flown home. This has never happened in DiveOne’s history, but this protects students and the company from any problems in the future.

While on our trips, DiveOne takes specific safety actions to create a safe experience for students to help give parents back home peace of mind. These actions include daily attendance, flight check-ins, and daily social media check-ins to create a safe line back home. The parents will also have access to the trip coordinator, one of their trusted teachers, and a certified dive instructor to help maintain contact and open communication!

These precautions and more help keep our clients safe as they travel and give those at home peace of mind. Safety isn’t recommended but mandatory, and we here at DiveOne will ensure that we have the proper foundation to continue with the fun and adventures these trips provide!
